Equilibrium and Good Management

I have lost my groove.  My social skills have deteriorated, I don’t eat enough vegetables and I’ve become paler. On the inside.

Groove Wanted… Apply Inside

Along those lines, some good management is in order.  One reason why I never invite people to my house is that this place is always a mess.  That, and I have three cats who have no manners.  A lot of people don’t like cats.

If any of you have ever tried FlyLady and failed, know that there are other systems out there.  One of them is MoMo – an electronic ToDo list.  It’s an mobile application, and you just check stuff off as you go.  There are some big projects, like cleaning out the refrigerator and mopping, but it also lets you add in your own stuff.

FlyLady worked for me right after I had my daughter, but she changed her email system so that everyone was forced to receive each and every e-mail.  It quickly got overwhelming – as in the hundreds overwhelming.  I cancelled it and chaos quickly flooded back into my life.

Until I found this:

My own Kitchen Nightmare.

What the F— is that?!  How did it get into my house?!  Has it always been there, or is it new?  I only noticed it because my daughter sometimes plays in that corner while I am cooking.  I’ve been watching How Clean Is Your House, and it’s disturbing the kinds of bacteria that are inside the house .

In order to get things back into shape, I’m starting with the new cleaning schedule.  I also began a new workout regimen.  It’s just the elliptical for now, but it’s a start.  Once my base is stable, I can start to clear out the cobwebs in my brain.

Enter – all things good

An aside – this isn’t my usual deck.  I figured it’s a strange deck, so why not use it in this strange country.  It’s a flimsy reason, but so what?  Life is short.
